The Rushford flood in 2007 was a pretty scary time for our little Preston Branch. Then we had about four members living in Rushford. When I heard about the flood, I was worried about the members of the Preston Branch who lived there. It was late at night when I was up in my room when it kind of hit me just how devastating this event would be.
I didn’t realize quite how worried I was however until the worry was taken away. I didn’t ask for it even, but I got this overwhelming assurance that everyone was going to be OK. This experience left me feeling warm and comforted, and it’s one of the most clear examples I have of the Spirit working on me.
