This story was told in a Regional Stake Conference on 11/4/2018.
“Hans, I’ve seen frost do some funny things, but I’ve never seen it run along a fence line.”
Elder Anderson’s grandfather chose to go to church, read the scriptures, and pray that his wheat crop would survive the impending frost. His neighbor chastised him and said he should have been home preparing his fields instead of going to church. The next morning, when the neighbor’s crop was black and the wheat heads were drooping, Elder Anderson’s grandfather’s crop was untouched by the frost. That’s when the neighbor said, “Hans, I’ve seen frost do some funny things, but I’ve never seen it run along a fence line.”
